Olivia Fronteddu, granddaughter of Leslie and Jacqueline Michael, was a member of the Canadian National Dance Team that competed at the World Dance Championships in Reisa, Germany this past November. Olivia, age 12, competed in both the Large Formation and Small Group categories in the genre of Showdance, and was one of the youngest members on the Junior Team. Her Large Formation Group place 17th and her Small Group place 10th in the world! Olivia continues to train 20-25 hours a week in Langley, BC and is about to begin her local competition season in the Lower Mainland. Olivia will compete in 5 various competitions and festivals over the next few months in the genres of ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop and stage. Good luck, Olivia!
