LUNCH AT THE KIWANIS CLUB AND EXPLORING LA CONNER
Our excursion package with Enjoy Tours and Travels included an excellent grilled BBQ salmon lunch at the Kiwanis Club in Mount Vernon. This included a hot baked potato, coleslaw salad, garlic bread, coffe/tea or lemonade and an icecream bar. We were happy to tuck in!
We had about an hour's free time at the nearby town of La Conner, which was well spent strolling the main drag, browsing through souvenir and curio shops. Eric put his camera to good use!
And then, all too soon we're on the bus...heading home!
